In determining the winner of the tournament, an eight-team bracket where the single elimination system is used will allow the match to run for up to three rounds.
How Does An Eight-Team Bracket Work?
The eight-team bracket will accommodate all participants to face each other in the first round of four matches. Each winner in the four matches is entitled to advance to the semifinals. The semifinal contestants will do two matches to get the two teams that qualify for the final round.
With single elimination, a play-in or more commonly known as a bye does not need to be included in this eight-team bracket.
