Matilda Havelock November 24, 2021 Deed
The Hawaii General Warranty Deed is a document that provides a guarantee to the buyer, whereby the seller declares legal and net ownership of the property and is free from liens. In addition, the seller also promises a defense to the buyer, should a claim arise.
This deed negotiates maximum protection for the buyer, therefore it is a must for the buyer to always ask the seller for this warranty deed. This is because the seller is the party who bears responsibility for any events that are likely to cause a conflict related to the buyer’s full ownership rights to the property being transacted.
At the final stage after signing and legalized by a notary, the Hawaii General Warranty Deed must be recorded at the local County Registrar.
